Sustainable Events

A sustainable event is, according to the United Nations, designed and organized to meet two objectives: minimizing all negative impacts that may occur on the environment and leaving a positive legacy for the community and all stakeholders involved.
CO2 COMPENSATION
1. We mitigate carbon emissions by reducing energy consumption and the use of fossil fuels through energy efficiency measures.

2. The CHN reforestation project foresees 20 trees for each event held.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
3. We reuse and recycle event supplies;

4. We implement adequate waste management and a plan to Reduce Energy and Water Consumption;

9. Offer of livestock effluents produced at the event to local farmers, for enrichment and organic fertilization of the soil.
ADEQUACY OF MATERIALS AND SUPPLIERS
10. Accommodation partners have sustainability policies in place

11. We prioritize organic, local and seasonal products, reducing the ecological footprint and respecting the cycle of nature;

12. Event without polluting emissions, held with natural light and outdoors.

13. All lighting is LED

14. Acrylic trophies were replaced by plants and bonsai.
MANAGEMENT OF SOCIAL IMPACTS
15. We involve the local community, collaborating with companies in the region and promoting employment at a local level;

16. We promote diversity, social inclusion and equal opportunities by recruiting the same proportion of men and women;

17. Mural of the Knights of the “Quadro de Valor”, favors the contribution of 5% of the prize money won by the knights, to the Social Cause of the Event;

18. Only electric vehicles are allowed at the event.
COMMUNICATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY
19. We highlight and communicate the good environmental, social and economic practices implemented and transmit these values ​​to the entire public;

20. We share the perception of the impact of benefits for society and the planet, with our stakeholders.
